Overview

If you’re unable to log in, not receiving OTP, or the app keeps crashing or freezing, this guide will help you get back into your Careem account quickly.


1. Unable to Log In

Common reasons

  • Incorrect phone number or country code

  • Pending app updates

  • Temporary service issues

  • VPN or restricted network blocking login

Quick Fix

  1. Confirm your correct mobile number and country code

  2. Update the Careem app to the latest version

  3. Turn off VPN or proxy networks

  4. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data


2. OTP Not Received

If OTP isn’t being delivered:

  • Confirm the number entered is correct

  • Ensure your phone has network coverage

  • Clear SMS inbox (if full)

  • Avoid using virtual numbers

  • Restart your phone

If still not receiving OTP, contact support for manual verification.


3. App Keeps Freezing or Crashing

This may happen due to outdated versions or corrupted app data.

Try the following:

  1. Force-close the app and reopen

  2. Clear app cache:
