Top Frequently Asked Questions

1. My domain isn't working

"I understand you're experiencing a domain issue.

Please verify:

  • Has the domain recently expired?
  • Were any DNS changes made?
  • Is this affecting your website, email, or both?

If the issue is urgent, our Domain Support team can investigate immediately."

2. Why was my domain renewed?

"Abion renews managed domains automatically to prevent accidental expiration. If you no longer require the domain, it should typically be cancelled before the annual renewal period."

3. How do I change my domain contact information?

"You can update contact information through the customer portal.

If only the address or contact information has changed, use Change Contact.

If ownership has changed (company name or legal entity), you'll need to initiate a domain ownership transfer."

4. I can't edit DNS records

"This usually happens because your account has view-only permissions.

Please verify your user permissions in the customer portal or contact your account administrator."

5. I cannot log into Abion Core

"Your one-time authentication code is generated by your authenticator app rather than sent by email.

If your account has been inactive for more than 180 days, it may be disabled for security reasons. Please contact support for reactivation."

6. How do I transfer my domain?

"You can initiate a domain ownership transfer from the customer portal or request assistance from our domain specialists.

Please note that ownership transfers may incur a fee depending on your agreement."

7. How do I order additional services?

"Log into the customer portal and select Create Order. You'll see the services available based on your account permissions."

8. Why did I receive a payment reminder?

"If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date, an initial reminder is sent. A subsequent reminder may include a late payment fee if payment is still outstanding."

9. Which invoice methods do you support?

"Abion supports:

  • Email invoices
  • Electronic invoicing (e-invoices) for businesses

For e-invoicing, your organization may need to provide a reference or purchase order number, depending on your e-invoicing provider."
